National Scenery and Wildlife of NSW; What to see and do in Sydney
I could get used to a Sedentary lifestyle. There is so much to see, taste, and experience in Sydney. There is little wonder why nearly 10 million people visit here each year. With all the districts to visit in a big city, we should break down the hot points to visit.
West of Sydney railway Square you can start to look for a hotel near Ultimo. That is the district you are in when you hop off the train. This leading tech hub is a dense inner-city start-up headquarters for Australia.
Not far West of Ultimo is the district of Glebe. There is a wide range of vintage shops, boutique stores, and the Glebe Market. Vintage and 2nd-hand clothing, jewellery, designer labels, live music, and delicious hawker food will keep you busy.
While we are still downtown another inner-city neighbourhood to visit is Surry Hills. There are thriving café, bars and restaurants, and art culture to take in. There are more markets, studios, and theatres for your deep cultural enjoyment.
Getting over to Manly Beach on the north side will present a scene of beachgoers and surfers carrying on the Australian surf culture started here. Soak up some sunlight and then head over to the Corso for nightlife and music.
Festivals and theatres await you in Newton an inner west suburb. There is an assorted variety of live music venues, bars, and city views. Trapes over to King Street for hip eateries and multicultural fare. Check out some excellent escape games before you can leave.
Visit the Sydney Harbour, and see the iconic skyline with the Sydney Opera House and Harbour Bridge. Not far from the Royal Botanic Garden, you can see Fort Denison a former defensive position and prison. Cruise the harbour or set out on a triple-masted ship as a deckhand.
Speaking of the Royal Botanic Garden, you can visit here frequently to watch the dispels change through the seasons. These gardens play a leading role in conservation, research, and habitat protection for our national environmental protection and preservation.
Scale the Sydney Tower in an express elevator to save your energy to twirl around the revolving bar and restaurant. Go up further to the observation deck 30m above the dining floor and see our world. Hang on tight, the building was designed to withstand the strong winds that can sweep you around.
The Sydney Wildlife Zoo opened almost 20 years ago near the Sea Life Sydney Aquarium in the central business district CBD. Enjoy walkthrough exhibits, entertaining keeper tours, and encounters with koalas, kangaroos, and butterfly exhibits.
If you have come to shop, eat, relax, surf, dive, drive, sail, shop some more, and party into the night, then you will fit well in Sydney. Compliments and suggestions can be given and information obtained at this directory of tourism affairs.
Whether at home or abroad travel respectfully and represent Australia well.
